| Bowenwork training consists of Modules 1-7 , the course laid out by the the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia. Doris Sturgeon is an accredited instructor with the Academy and offers classes In Lima, Ohio and is also willing to travel anywhere there is an interest. A Module consists of a 2 day class. The training can be taken one module at a time, with a month being the normal amount of time between modules to give the student time to practice the work before going onto the next level. The modules may also be offered with two modules back to back in a four day class. Each module is credited with 16 contact hours within the Bowen Academy. It is information that was learned and reviewed in Modules 1-6. This includes a written test on the Module 6 material only and hands-on demonstration of all procedures learned in Module 1-6, knowing where all the mandatory pauses are observed, will be assessed. It is highly recommended the student attend a Review Class before taking Module 7. |
